"❌Worst agent I've ever had. I don't recommend going to him unless you're okay with waiting two weeks for a response. I can't imagine what would happen if there were an emergency. He's quick to sign you up for a policy, but once you need to change or cancel something, he just ignores you.
Their office also seems disorganized. They don't even seem to know who their clients are. One day when I contacted them, they told me I wasn't with their office at all, even though all my documents were signed with them and the app shows his office. It turned out they had mixed something up.
I rarely write reviews, and negative ones even less often, but I don't know how else to get them to cancel my policy. I don't recommend this agent to anyone!!!

Austin, thank you for your reply. I'd like to clarify a few points too.
First, my new insurance company was supposed to contact your office and cancel the State Farm policy on its own. I reached out to you personally only to be safe.
About the account confusion: we had been communicating in that same text thread the whole time. The earlier messages clearly showed that I signed my policy with you and handled everything through your office. I also told you the app lists you as my agent and that you sent me all the documents to sign. That was enough to see there was a mix-up on your side, instead of sending me to a different agent I had never heard of or spoken to.
I also asked you to check whether there were any options to lower my premium. You said you would look into it and help, but I never heard back.
Finally, you could see I was worried. A simple update from your side would have made a big difference, instead of me having to message you every week just to understand what was going on. That's basic communication with customers.
Before I signed, I heard from your office almost every day. Once I had questions and problems, the responses stopped. That's why I wouldn't recommend working with this office."

"Marta, thank you for sharing your concerns. We apologize for the frustration you experienced, but we do want to clarify several important points regarding what occurred.
Because the cancellation was requested within 60 days of the policy’s inception, there were specific requirements that had to be completed before we could process the transaction. We needed documentation showing that coverage had been obtained elsewhere so that it could be submitted along with the cancellation request. Once we received the required documentation, we submitted the cancellation as requested, effective back to the 22nd, and suspended the automatic draft while the cancellation was being processed.
Regarding the confusion about your account, there was not a mix-up of customer accounts or policy information. The issue occurred within the texting system we use, where we initially had difficulty identifying the name associated with the message. Our team used other methods to locate and verify the correct account.
While we understand the cancellation process may not have been as immediate as you expected, our office followed the required procedures to ensure the request was processed correctly and with the effective date you requested. We take our responsibility to our customers seriously and always strive to handle requests accurately, thoroughly, and in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
